Remote Compass helps you compare relocation options with AI. We only keep the data we need to run the product, bill for credits, answer support requests, and keep the platform secure. Search prompts and AI outputs are processed in memory and discarded when the session ends.


1. Information We Collect
  • Account data

    Email, magic-link verification, login timestamps, and subscription status.

  • Billing data

    Stripe stores card details; we receive tokens, invoices, and transaction IDs only.

  • Usage diagnostics

    IP address, browser details, and rate-limit logs that keep the platform secure.

  • Support messages

    Details you share when you reach out for help.

Remote Compass is for people 16+. If you think a minor shared data with us, please reach out so we can delete it quickly.

2. How We Use Information
  • Deliver the Service

    Authenticate you, run searches, show credits, and let you download PDFs.

  • Process payments

    Handle subscriptions, invoices, and fraud monitoring via Stripe.

  • Keep things secure

    Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and debug reliability issues.

  • Communicate with you

    Send important updates about security, billing, or product changes.

We never sell personal data and we never repurpose your prompts to train AI models.

3. Service Providers

Remote Compass runs on a short list of cloud, AI, and payment providers. They process personal data only to keep the product running, follow our instructions, and apply industry-standard safeguards.

4. Retention

Account data stays while you have an account and is deleted within 30 days of closure (unless regulations require otherwise). Billing records stay up to 10 years for accounting. Security logs stay up to 12 months. Support tickets are deleted once the conversation is resolved. Search prompts, chat conversations, and PDFs are not stored after your active session.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us via LinkedIn and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We may request proof of identity.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal data, but no service is perfectly secure—please alert us immediately if you spot anything suspicious.

7. Changes & Contact
